I am so grateful I found Kids First! My son is a part timer here, but has full time love from each and every person who works here. There are so many things he has learned, and he adjusted so quickly. I have no doubt it's because of the wonderful staff!

I was so impressed the moment I walked through the door. I immediately felt like they already knew me and cared about me. The sweetest employee Brianna showed me around. The facility is clean and they have great educational and recreational activities for the kids. They also provide all meals, which was a huge plus for me.

I had a long and frustrating search for a daycare, including ignored calls and emails; even being laughed at on the phone when I asked if there were openings at other places. I was almost ready to give up when I randomly found Kids First online and called, and the lady who spoke to me was so kind and able to get me in to check out the facility. Kids First was an absolute standout and I couldn't sign up with them fast enough!

Been extremely happy at Kids First. What impresses me is that EVERY worker knows EVERY child’s name and forms a relationship with them. I know that my child is safe and loved here. I also appreciate how they support their employees and make sure they are taken care of - when you have happy employees it means better care for your child.

A review is a bit overdue, now that we've been with Kid's First for 2+ years. Kid's First has been my #1 choice for daycare for my three children (ages 3y, 18m, and expected newborn). I consider them part of our family and value their role in my children's lives. Every single teacher in the center knows and interacts with my children lovingly and as if they were their own. Management and teachers have always been professional, responsive, and considerate. Procare is used to provide updates and photos on their daily activities, and funny stories/info on their days are also shared during pick-up/drop-off, always keeping me - and even Grammy - involved. Communication lines are always open and parent-teacher conferences are offered regularly. Activities indoors and outdoors are plentiful, allowing my kids to burn their massive amounts of energy. Meals are kid-friendly while meeting and exceeding State standards for healthy meal plans. Any concerns are resolved promptly. I've never had to question the safety - physical, emotional, or otherwise - of my children while in their care, and any incidents between children are well-documented and handled appropriately. The facility is clean and maintained, providing a sanitary environment. Teachers are trained regularly, and turnover is infrequent (all but maybe two have been with the center for 1y+). In the time my kids have attended, we've seen many wonderful updates, from the installation of security cameras and complete remodels of rooms to new playground equipment and strollers for walks. In short, my kids are happy, well-taken care of, and the dedication and commitment of management and teachers to each other, to the children, and to the facility is clear to see. Thank you Miss Katie, Miss Ann, and staff for providing quality care - We could not ask for better!

My son has been going here since he was a month and half old and now is almost 5. I do not plan on changing daycares any time soon. Ann and Katie both have been so amazing with my child as all the teachers have too. Im so thankful for the measures they take on a day by day bases with all the children to make sure they are safe and secure there.

They are VERY friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. They keep you updated on items you need and activities. They are VERY interactive with all the kids and plan fun things for the kids and help them learn along the way.

We have tried 3 or 4 daycare centers from Syracuse to Layton. We have also tried an in-home daycare. Our child kept getting bitten..scared to go to school.. crying and dissociation. I had almost given up.. literally was at my witts end. Then I found Kids First. Let me tell you.. Night and Day! My kid is happy.. he looks forward to going to school.. drop offs are a breeze.. The food they serve is much healthier than anywhere else we have found and really promotes a balanced meal. we are very happy we found this school and truly wish we had found it earlier. our child is 2.5 years old and having him somewhere I trust is key to making it through my work day.

Kids First is by far the best daycare I have had my children in. I have a child who is diabetic and has celiacs disease, Kids First went above and beyond to make sure all of my child's needs were met. Other daycares would make me bring snacks for my child, I even had a few who told me they would not accept a child with those needs. Katie and her trem didn't even bat a eye when my husband and I brought up our child's needs. Both my children loved all of teachers at Kids first. We received updates through out the day along with questions through the app Kids First uses. The app really put our minds at ease. I have recommended other parents to Kids First and will continue to do so. Thank you for taking care of my children as if they were yours!

I’ve been part of the Kids First family since 2013, when I enrolled my 9 month old daughter. I’m so grateful I found them when I did. It’s the only day care I’ve ever used. I’ve loved everything about them, and now I work there. Which has also been a great 2 years so far.

Kids first is amazing. My kids have attended for a few years now. The staff is amazing an very open with communication. My kids love the summer field trips and other activities done for holidays. They have made amazing friends which Katie and Ann helped set up play dates outside of the center when requested. We love the family activities great way to meet the other parents.

Live & Learn

My child has been here for over a year, she came in just a little over one years old. She loves it there! She learns a lot and the employees there have been helpful and keep the rules to keep the kids safe and healthy. I have wanted to be a stay at home mom but because that is not doable right now I have to put my child in daycare. I feel like having her at Kids First she is safe and well taken care of. I feel that if I can't watch her my self right now she is at least in a good place I can trust.

I felt the warmth and welcome and happy every time i drop and pick up my son here.He does gets all attention he needed. I moved out of state and my son goes to preschool now and i never could find back that warmth again. Thats all i want for him. Thank you for all those years.

This daycare is amazing my child started daycare at 4, a little later then most and they have worked with her with not only learning but social emotional skills. They are very good with staying consistent with what you have in place at home. They always have time to listen to my questions or concerns about what is going on and send daily updates. The teachers are all very warm and welcoming. They have always made both my daughter and I feel safe and confident and the teachers, owner and other staff will always hold a special place in my heart your Littles are definitely in good hands here💖

Kid’s First really does put kids first. My littles feel so loved and cared for. They have also really enjoyed the use of sensory play and craft making in their learning. I recently went back to work, which is a hard transition for all of us. The staff helped the transition go way better than I could’ve hoped. Furthermore, my one little LOVES climbing and jumping. To help with those instincts and wants of my little and of other children, they got some new playground equipment that encourages them to climb and jump safely.

Kids first is really a reliable preschool/daycare and is very clean.

Kids first is truly the best place to send your child. My daughter began going there when she was around 6 months old and she is almost 2 now. She absolutely loves everyone at the center from the teachers to the other kiddos. It feels like everyone is a family. The meals for the kids are amazing & well balanced. Each teacher here truly treats the kids as their own, and you can see the love and care they radiate towards everyone. They are also really great at keeping parents informed of everything going on! I drove extra mileage out of the way from my home & work every day just to take my daughter here, because it is truly the best and I will not take her anywhere else in the area! I will be forever grateful for the love, care, and development they have provided to my daughter!
