We care for children 4 weeks through 12 years old.

We always encourage parents to participate in their child’s classroom. We invite them to join us in daily activities such as reading stories, doing art, music time, and more. We also invite parents to join us for special activities in our early preschool and preschool classes to share what they do for work with us. They are also always welcome to join us for meals anytime they want.

Kid’s First looks small from the outside, but you’ll be surprised when you walk in to find 5 spacious classrooms, a preschool bathroom, private bathroom and a full kitchen to prepare fresh, home cooked meals daily. This means that we have qualified teachers who receive ongoing education, we offer age appropriate activities that promote children’s development across all learning domains with an emphasis on social/emotional development which is crucial for lifelong success. Our classrooms are set up to be supportive environments that encourage curiosity and exploration. We also provide highly nutritious meals that are prepared daily with fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. We have created a curriculum that is similar to Teaching Strategies. Our curriculum differs in that we create our lesson plans weekly to facilitate the children’s current interests. We follow the children’s leads when we plan for learning topics and objectives. Our trained teachers ensure that they plan age appropriate lessons and activities that promote development in the areas each child is working on. In addition, we are a play based center that allows the children to choose daily what activities they want to participate in. The teachers then support their learning through interactions and open-ended questions. We also offer educational field trips for our preschoolers and an amazing summer camp with fun and educational field trips.
